2022 University Colleges Australia Forum

Updated: Dec 21, 2023

Dear 2022 Forum Delegates,

We’re looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday.

I am reaching out with a few pre-conference updates:

Firstly, you can find a copy of the 2022 Forum Program attached. Hard copies will be provided upon arrival.

Secondly, if you became a college head, deputy or dean within the last two years, you are invited to one of two sessions, which will be run in parallel on the first day of the conference:

  • Workshop for New Heads – Wayne Erickson and Carla Tromans (from 12.00pm)

  • Workshop for New Deputies and Deans – James Hardiman and Sou McPhail (from 12.00pm)

If you are intending to join, please register here: New College Leaders - RSVP

Thirdly, please note that invitations to the Government House event have been issued. As per Government House’s event policy, you will only have been sent an invitation if you registered for the conference before 22 August. If you were expecting to receive an invitation to the event but did not, please let me know as soon as possible. If you are unsure when you booked and would like to check, please feel free to reach out. Alternatively, you can wait and check the guest list, which will be displayed during the conference.

Finally, just a reminder that the conference will be held at Customs House in Brisbane. The address is 399 Queen Street, Brisbane.

Thank you again for your interest in the 2022 Forum. We are delighted that more than 100 college leaders from around Australia will be attending. We are also grateful to the team at Customs House for accommodating 40 more delegates than originally expected, and to the Organising Committee (comprising Rose Alwyn, Greg Eddy, Michelle Allan and Carla Tromans) for assembling what promises to be a stimulating and engaging conference.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
