As the higher education landscape continues to shift, residential colleges play a vital role in shaping student experience, culture, and sector impact. The 2025 UCA Forum invites college leaders to consider how we can leverage authentic, values-driven leadership to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Grounded in the aspirations of the Universities Accord, the Forum explores our distinctive contribution to student development, sector positioning, and collegiate life, and reimagines how we lead, govern, and grow in a time of national reform.​

Below is an indicative Forum schedule to enable participants to plan their travel to the Gold Coast. Please note that the indicative schedule is still in progress and subject to change. Updates will be made as soon as they become available.

11am: Brisbane College tour and lunch
3pm: Bus departs from Brisbane to QT Gold Coast

Tuesday 30 September
Forum Day 1
9am: Forum Registration
10am: Governance and Leadership Workshops Session #1
12pm: Lunch
1pm: Governance and Leadership Workshops Session #2
4pm: Forum Registration/Free Time
6pm: Welcome Cocktail at the Malibu Room, QT Gold Coast
Wednesday 1 October
Forum Day 2
Full day consisting of keynote speakers, panels and discussions with a dominant focus on the National Code. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be served.

Delegates will have a free night to enjoy the Gold Coast and organise private activities.
Thursday 2 October
Forum Day 3
Final day of the Forum will consist of an all-day program followed by the Gala Dinner.

The Forum concludes at 10pm.

UCA members and Forum ticket purchasers are able to receive discounted accommodation at QT Gold Coast. Please note that this discount is subject to accommodation availability at the QT Gold Coast. We encourage members to book their accommodation as soon as possible.
