Job Description
With a commitment to providing a supportive community for residents and a genuine interest in preparing young people for a global career, the ideal candidate will be empathetic with strong cultural sensitivity. Previous experience in the education sector is essential, coupled with outstanding communication skills to effectively engage with a broad stakeholder base, including working closely with the Board, UQ stakeholders and students. A problem-solving approach, resourcefulness and a willingness to be hands-on in operational management will also be key to success. The Director communicates the strategic vision which is determined with the Board and keeps abreast of sector developments, identifying opportunities to ensure the long-term success of IH.
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to lead a highly regarded residential college with a long history of success, supporting students from a range of cultures to navigate their university years and set them up to make their mark on the world.
The position is offered on a five-year fixed term contract with an attractive remuneration package, including access to a four-bedroom onsite residence and fully maintained vehicle.
