Overview

St Albert’s College at UNE Armidale is seeking an Executive Manager of Finance and Operations to lead our finance and operations team.

Job Description

The Executive Manager of Finance and Operations will provide leadership, direction and management for the Finance and Operations team, responsible for inward facing financial and operation management of the College. They will ensure regulatory and legal compliance with financial, human resources and payroll requirements, as well as overseeing the practical day to day operations of the College including facilities and grounds, dining facilities and support staff. On a strategic level, the Executive Manager of Finance and Operations will work with the Principal and Executive Team to plan operational and financial matters, improving financial and management reporting and driving the business forward based on strong data gained from trend analysis and forecasting.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate: 


  1. Respects and upholds in word and practice the teaching and traditions of the Catholic Church and the values of the College;

  2. Demonstrates a breadth and depth of experience in financial and operational management including budget development, trend analysis, forecasting, reporting and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;

  3. Shows a strong capacity to think and operate with a highly strategic focus on organisational objectives;

  4. Has high level communication, interpersonal and people management skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence and consult with compassion and understanding;

  5. Holds tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or business with extensive knowledge and experience of strategic executive level management.

Candidates must also hold or be eligible to hold a current Working with Children Check and pass a National Police Check.
